Mason Diaz is a competitor in the Arca Menards East Series and a full-time student at Old Dominion University, majoring in business with a minor in marketing.  He has been racing since he was four-years-old and continues to move up the ranks of asphalt racing.

He received his first go-kart when he was four years
old.  After dominating in his local
karting club, he moved up in 2008 into Bandolero competition, racing predominantly
at Old Dominion Speedway in his hometown of Manassas, Virginia.  Shortly after, he moved into INEX Legends.

In 2015, he won the Virginia State Champion in the INEX
Young Lion Division.  The following year,
he moved up into the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, racing in a Limited
Late Model at South Boston.

Mason Diaz made headlines when he picked up a top-10 finish
in his first Snowflake 100 attempt back in 2016.

In 2017, Diaz stepped up to a Late Model Stock Car in the
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, scoring his first win in his third race of
the year at Southern National Motorsports Park.
He won several other races in 2017 en-route to the track championship,
while also picking up a victory in the Rusty Harpe Memorial at Caraway
Speedway.

In October 2017, Diaz made his first career NASCAR Gander
Outdoors Truck Series start, qualifying ninth and running inside the top-15 until
a cut tire relegated him to a 23rd place finish.

Diaz stated out the year strong in 2018, scoring a victory
over Mike Skinner in a 100-lap Pro Late Model race at New Smyrna Speedway’s
World Series of Asphalt.  He also made
his first career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Richmond Raceway in September
2018, finishing 18th.

In 2019, Diaz will race full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East while also competing in select NASCAR XFINITY Series races.  During the summer, he works full-time to help with his racing costs.  Through his racing efforts, he has raised awareness for breast cancer, the United Spinal Association, and the Shepard Center.

Throughout his racing career, Diaz has made headlines, being
featured on Race22.com, Speed51.com, The Weekly Racer, Late Model Racer
Magazine, Old Dominion University’s news hub and NASCAR Home Tracks.  He also received attention from Fox Sports during
his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut after a ninth place qualifying
effort.
